my_head_dark_space_300-webSTOP, DON’T DO IT! Take hope! You have options that you cannot see right now! It is not that you do not have options, it is just that you cannot see them. Evil forces can cloud our minds from seeing the hope that is there. You have an opportunity of a better day. It is real and it is out there. It is coming. Let God open your eyes to it and let Him do it for you. Give Him a chance to give you a chance. We love you and He loves you.

You have good options, you just can’t see them now.

Only the word of God can strip away the darkness so that we can see the brightness. You are in the dark simply because you cannot see the light. Hurt and hopelessness work together to block the light. The light is actually all around you. MAKE YOURSELF read the following scriptures, even if you feel absolutely nothing. The deadness will leave. Hope and light will seep into your heart. Do it!

Anyone who is among the living has hope. Ecclesiastes 9:4

Suicidal thoughts only survive within an outlook of complete hopelessness. Hope, true Bible hope, is the best antidote for hopelessness. Take the hope that is resident in the promises of God and put it into your heart. Your outlook will change. God has a wonderful habit of raising individuals out of impossible situations. He enjoys doing it, and it brings Him glory. The Bible is full of stories of people, just like you, that were delivered out of extremely dangerous and potentially embarrassing situations – including His own son, Jesus. You are no different. Reject the guilt and shame, and absorb His love, forgiveness, and hope. You will make it out of this situation! The darkness will not last. That is the real truth, but for it to work, you must see it as truth and believe it. This is where reading, speaking, and meditating God’s promises comes in. They will grow hope and belief in your heart. ALSO, PLEASE READ THIS – Helping Others Is God’s Prescription for Depression.

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down (depression), but a good word cheers it up. Proverbs 12:25 Holman Christian Standard Bible

Call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255
Allow God’s good word to cheer you up. God’s word is the only true source of hope because it shows the will of Him who can help. Allow the hope of a good result to seep back into your heart. Suicide is the extreme dead-end of hopelessness. Allowing thoughts of hopelessness to control your thinking narrows and darkens your path till suicide appears to be the only option, BUT IT IS NOT. There are plenty of other solutions; you just can’t see them now because hopelessness has blinded you to them. The hope that is resident in the promises of God will open the eyes of your heart, and you will be able to see again. It will get brighter.

Suicide only appears like an option when the devil has hidden all your other options. Allow the Bible to open your eyes.

You will have to work at it. You will not feel like it. Do it anyway, your life depends on it, and contrary to what you are feeling, YOUR LIFE IS WORTH IT. Suicide is a permanent solution to an intense but short term problem. Don’t do it!

“Do not be a fool–why die before your time?” Ecclesiastes 7:17b

This may sound harsh but the hard truth is this – the thought to end one’s life is foolish – and once you step back and see it for what it really is, you will understand. Do not despair; it will get better. The power to deliver is resident in His word. Put it to work for you. Relax and make yourself read these scriptures and let God’s word do the rest:

You are my lamp O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light. 2 Samuel 22:29

But you will not need to fight! Take your places; stand quietly and see the incredible rescue operation God will perform for you, Oh people of Judah and Jerusalem! Don’t be afraid or discouraged! Go out there tomorrow, for the Lord is with you! 2 Chronicles 20:17

You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit. Job 10:12

I will lie down in peace and sleep, for though I am alone, Oh Lord, you will keep me safe. Psalms 4:8

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 5:12

No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame. Psalm 25:3

You are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:5

You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble! You surround me with songs of victory. I will instruct you (says the Lord) and guide you along the best pathway for your life; I will advise you and watch your progress. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. Psalm 34:18, 19

If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumbles, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:23, 24

Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42:5

And the ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm – I will come to you. John 14:18

I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27

We are saved by trusting. And trusting means looking forward to getting something we don’t yet have – for a man who already has something doesn’t need to hope and trust that he will get it. But if we must keep trusting God for something that hasn’t happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently. Romans 8:24-25

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 2 Corinthians 3:12

Nevertheless God, that comforts, those that are depressed, comforted us by the coming of Titus; And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. II Corinthians 7:6-7

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19

There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called–one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:4-6

  1. Two friends, adult brothers, with extensive tragic backgrounds that really rival Job. They are hitting an emotional breaking point. Very concerned for their emotional and possibly physical safety. They are believers but sometimes feel God is punishing them – like why did God allow this or that to happen. At one time, they were even in worship bands. But their stress levels now are very high. I met them a little over a year ago, but we all agree it was not by chance, that it was God ordained – even so, they are losing hope. I asked God why did we meet? He said he needed someone to pray fervently for them. I do. But I also ask you to please do the same. Thank you and God bless you.

  2. Antoniette ,I am praying for your precious daughter Kayla, surrender her to Jesus place her in his hands .Nothing is impossible with The Father on your side.We bind rebuke the spirit of suicide, depression and send it to the feet of Jesus never to return, set Kayla free of this bondage in Jesus Name we pray amen.

  3. Please pray for my daughter Kayla, she is battling suicidal thoughts and depression. This has been going on for quite some time now and I’m scared for her! I don’t want her to listen to devil and try to take her life again! Please please pray that God and Jesus will intervene in a mighty way and deliver her and heal her and restore her. I pray for her deliverance from her addictions as well. Thanks for your prayers. Amen.

  4. Star,I am praying for you. Surrender your life to Jesus. He is in control ,he will set you free of this bondage.I will fast and pray for you dear. You are a bright star in his divine eyes.We bind and cast off the spirits of suicide, depression, hopelessness and sadness and sent it to the cross never to return amen.love Mabel

  5. I’m scared. I’m so scared. I’ve messed up. I got diagnosed with herpes some months back and since then I’ve felt suicidal. Last night I was so close to doing it, but I didn’t. I want God to comfort me and help me. Because I really don’t see the purpose of living anymore.

    1. Star, do not let your diagnosis be your death sentence. God has you. He will keep you. The devil is going to try to make it seem like this is the worst thing that could ever happen to you but I PROMISE, you can make it through this and learn to live with it. Millions of people do.
Don’t be ashamed. Don’t worry about what others will think. You are LOVED. God will not forsake you as long as you draw close to Him.

    2. It is a common illness and there are many dating websites for people with STD’s now that will help you find a mate even so. google it! I found my husband this way and I am happily ever after for 9 years now. I never had an outbreak, despite testing positive on a blood test. I assure you it is possible to live a happy and full life. Even in adversity, praise God, thank Him for the gift of life, and open yourself to the possibilities that are still there for you. Everyone has limitations, virtues, and some even have disabilities. It seems like the end of everything at first, but you will be OK as you realize God still has a great plan for you!!!

  6. Please pray for me. I have suffered from severe depression and tinnitus for 2 years. I am currently doing a drug withdrawal from clonazepam which has terrible withdrawal symptoms. I am having suicidal thoughts. I love our Heavenly Father and Jesus and have many that love me. I just want the pain to stop.

    1. I am praying for you,we bind rebuke and cast off the spirit of depression and suicide and send to the feet iof Jesus never to return, fill her with your peace and joy amen

      1. Yes, we send these spirits to the depths of the sea where they can harm no one any longer!

Note: sending evil to the feet of Jesus is the wrong place. Jesus is at the right hand of His Father in Heaven right now. I used to say the same thing but a (new) pastor corrected me. Evil can be thrown to the depths of rhe sea or to the abyss – its scriptural. Not meaning to criticize just to teach.

    2. Will pray. It took me three years to withdraw from nortriptyline after being on it about 25 years for depression. I thought it was impossible until i looked it up on drugs.com and found that it came in liquid. Then I was able to go at my own pace without getting headache, nausea, and high blood pressure. I have been done with this drug for some years now. I am very happy that I persevered. About clonazepam, it says on drugs.com that the liquid is campatible with water, tea or fruit juice. Or it says you can put on a spoon and feed directly into mouth. You would have to ask your dr to prescribe the liquid and ask his recommendation for weaning. If you get symptoms, lessen the reduction slightly. I am a nurse. Dont give up!! Benzodiazepines are infamous for being difficult to withdraw from. Your challenge is great but your God is greater!!

    3. Oh I forgot to tell you: you have to buy an eyedropper. Get one with the lines on it. It looks like a syringe, but They come without a needle. You can get them at any drugstore. When you get the medicine it will not come with an eyedropper.‘. You need to ask your dr which kind of eyedropper would work with the liquid he gives you. It all depends on the preparation of the liquid. Let him/her do the math for you. I would go to the dr with a 0.1mL eyedropper and a Sharpie permanent marker to draw a line on it if needed. They are available on Amazon if not in drug store.

    4. I tried to find it and it wasn’t easy to find. I found the eyedropper on amazon.com. Its called Lab Safety Supply Inc pipette grade B-1mL with 0.1mL graduations. Pack of 12 for twenty dollars. I have seen plastic ones in the hospital but they are not generally available to the public. This one is a long thin glass tube.

    5. Joan, I too am suffering from prescription withdrawal (Zoloft) and I have been through withdrawals in the past. I know how overwhelming the need to be free of the emotional pain is. I’m feeling all of that and more. I’ve found that finding a Bible verse that you feel is God speaking directly to you can be something to hold on to. This morning when I was completely despondent and seeing no way to stay here, the Lord gave this verse to me: “I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you..” (Isaiah 46:3-5, 9-10). This was quoted from an email devotional that I get everyday from ReFrame ministries: Seeking God in SUFFERING . I know that tomorrow I will need to hear from Him again. And again. And again. Until I my brain can once again be able to sustain me. I will be praying for you to find His strength to complete your taper and to heal from the pain it has caused. Please pray for me to be able to withstand the pain of a damaged neuro system and to see my healing. He really does love us with an eternal love.

      1. God loves you and I’m sending you this prayer! 🌹🙏🏼🌹

Jesus, my Healer, in You, there is healing. By Your stripes, Lord, this person who I love is healed. Whether now, or later in the age to come, I thank You for restoring their health. May they trust that You can use all things, even their sickness, to make something beautiful. May they depend on You for all things, because You are faithful and our all-powerful refuge. Amen. 🙏🏼 I love you and keep fighting…🌹

Anonymous female – It is a spirit wanting you to destroy yourself because that is what demonic spirits want you to do. They work to get you into a place of blindness where you can no longer see the hope that exists all around you, and then bombard you with thoughts of ending your life as the only option. It is not an option.

The real answer is to get rid of the blindness. That is what our articles are all about – to see clearly again through God’s eyes for you. And so doing to change your life for the better forever. I have prayed for you, and I know others have as well.

I will send you an email to call me. We love you and God loves you.

    3. Praying…. i agree with last response. Command it to be quiet in Jesus’s name. There are many people who can help with depression. I would start with a therapist. I dont know what you are going through, but just know that you should not feel alone in it. There are many willing and able to help. “For you are greatly beloved.” daniel 9:23

      1. Please pray for 3 young ladies i know that needs deliverance and freedom from the thoughts of suicide and salvation in Jesus. Their names are Naomi 13yrs old, Cassie 19yrs old and Natasha 23yrs old.

Thank you for contending for their freedom and salvation

        1. I need help and most importantly God’s deliverance as I’ve been suffering from depression and waves of sadness for the past 3-4 months. I have attempted suicide twice now and currently feel hopeless and empty, my self esteem has also been shattered, thoughts of being rejected come to my mind every now and then.
This started after suffering a horrible breakup from a 4 year old relationship that was heading towards marriage. She told me she had many opportunities to have had more but she settled for me, this was despite making me feel like I was the best, she said so many things that messed up my mind and blocked me from contacting her. I was not perfect but the devastating effects of her words and actions have left me downcast and unwilling or unable to trust anyone. I have gone to therapy, I have tried alcohol, sex, etc to get rid of the pain but nothing seems to be working, I felt more pain even after trying all these things.
I recently began to feel okay with dying, that is, I’m not going to kill myself but if my life ends today, I’ll be okay with it.
          I need help. I need God’s healing!

          1. Emmanuel when I was praying for you I heard Jesus say “My precious son,I have great plans for you plans to prosper you.” Cling to Jesus He is all you need.spirit of depression sadness suicide death begone in Jesus name fill me with your love and peace.Jesus has someone special for you.i will be praying for you.

  11. Please pray over my mother Beth, who has lost her mom recently. She has been expressing suicidal thoughts and despair. She is very frantic at all times and may be using drugs. I speak to her saying I love her and she hears “I hate you.” As if cannot hear me or receive my love. I also need prayer because it weighs on me. I do not want the fear over her to hold me captive also.

    1. Liza I will pray for your mom.inthe name if Jesus the spirit of death leave her now never to return fill the void with everlasting joy and peace.touch Liza and her mom and keep them under your glory light Give them peace.amen

    2. Dear Liza,

I prayed for you and your mom. You may also want to join a prayer chain like KLOVE’s phone app, if you like. It reaches a lot of people. Please pray that Mom will have the courage and boldness to feel her feelings. That is what healing from addiction is all about. They are afraid to feel their feelings, or just don’t want to. But feelings do not go away. When we throw them to the trash compactor, they build up there. We must honor and respect our feelings. Feelings alone cannot kill us. It is actions that harm. We can’t always control our feelings; we are at the mercy of them. But that is part of having the heart of flesh that God promised us. He took away our heart of stone and gave us a heart of flesh. And so we are vulnerable, but we are also beautiful and hightly valuable to God. He doesn’t want stone people. So encourage her to push through the feelings and to see a therapist if she needs help with them.

  12. My 14 yr old daughter Sophie was admitted to a behavioral health facility yesterday as she tried commiting suicide. She suffers with sadness, depression, feelings of rejection and hopelessness. I am a believer and a single mother. Sophie’s dad has not been in her life at all because I felt it best for her due to addiction on his part and not wanting to truly work, but live off the system and get pain meds from the hospital. Since she was little she has seen shadow figures at her school and in our home. She’s felt and heard a malevolent presence at times and once she was alone while I went to the store and she was frightened by a loud, strong banging on her bedroom door, coming from inside her bedroom while the door was shut. I have enlisted folks from church to pray, but many folks are totally blindsided/and or unfamiliar when it comes to spiritual warfare. As horrible as this sounds, I cannot even find it within myself to pray. I’m paralyzed. I feel distant from God and wonder if this is because of some sin I’ve allowed in. The thought that keeps coming is “the die is cast, the trajectory set”, meaning this is how it’s going to be and God hasn’t delivered Sophie so far, so He’s just not going to do it. Yes, I realize that’s the enemy’s voice, but I haven’t been able to read my Bible for months now. I have been prayerless and apathetic and feel powerless over what’s happening. Also, I struggle with unbelief. Not an unbelief IN God, but not believing His word, His faithfulness, His warnings against the destructive nature of sin and rebellion. Please, please, please pray for Sophie and me.

    1. I’m praying for you and Sophie. YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR HOUSE BLESSED!!! Stop by your nearest Catholic Church and ask to speak to a priest. Tell him what is happening in your daughter’s bedroom. It doesn’t matter what your faith is. You need to get rid of the presence haunting your daughter.

    2. Lifting you and Sophie up Libby. That definitely does sound demonic, especially the oppression on yourself, the shadows, and your daughter trying to take her life. Those are pointers to demonic activity. And you’re not alone in believing in this, it’s just you’re not around believers who believe this.

But you are not alone. I’ve had to occasionally deal with demons. They’re not difficult and since 1 Peter 2:5-9 teaches all believers are as priests we have the authority. Simply say to those ugly things, “Demon, be gone in the name of Jesus.” That’s all. They must flee at His name.

And if we’re both quite wrong and there’s no demons, no harm would be done in trying. Praying you do. Look at the verses on this page. They are as much for you as they are for Sophie.

      You are not alone.

    3. Dear Libby,

I will pray. Remember the Bible is our weapon and our sword against the enemy. Hebrews 10:23 says Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering for he is faithful that promised. The Lord can and will heal her. Sophie may be helped also by medications. I am a Christian who has bipolar 2 and I believe in spiritual warfare. I believe some people need the medication, even if briefly. I learned that a chemical imbalance can change a person drastically but the person we know still exists inside. My mom had schizophrenia for 20 years and I did not pray because I was angry at her. She was very abusive. After 20 yrs I decided to forgive her and prayed one prayer in despair. The Lord healed her within a month. She went back to being the woman I remembered when I was five yrs old. She was healed without medication. I was healed slowly and I still take medication. I live a very stable life. Im married and work as a nurse. The Lord has many ways. I now have a Christian suicide prevention website. http://Www.darknesstolight.info I pray it can help. God bless you sister. The Lord loves you. Trust Him, He is a God Who delivers. Oxoxo

    4. Libby, God loves you and Sophie soooooo much! The word of God, your Bible is the greatest weapon against Satan and his attacks on you and your daughter! Read the Bible daily and pray. I’ve prayed for you and your daughter’s healing and deliverance! God is with you. Just call on His name for help and He will. Wait on Him no matter how long it takes. He hears you and He will answer you. Don’t doubt Him just trust Him!

    5. Hi Libby! Try to watch the talk of Ptr.Derek Prince regarding Spiritual Warfare(title: Spritual Warfare on earth). It is in youtube. Whatever is happening in the physical has happened first in the spirit. Sophie needs to be delivered from the demon of suicide, the demon of depression, the demon of sadness, rejection and hopelessness.
Pls Watch the video. We need to be equipped because the power of Jesus when He cast out demons is the same power He vested on us as God’s children. In my home when I sense a different spirit example demon of anger…I cast it out In Jesus’ Name! I say even under my breath
“You! demon of anger! You are not welcome in my home! You get out millions of miles from
here and never to come back In Jesus’Name! Amen!”
….after a while I will notice the conflict, the anger subsides. We are not helpless Libby. We have our God who is all powerful….and we have the power In Jesus’Name! Focus on Jesus. Seek Him with all your heart! Read His promises in the Bible. His Words have power! It serves as our sword from the fiery darts of the devil. If you hold on to His Words, It will not return void but will accomplish that which it is sent for. Thus we need to know His Words,His Promises. Will pray for you and Sophie ? You and Sophie are covered with Jesus’Most Precious Blood, In Jesus’Name! Amen!???

    2. Please pray for my niece nickisha Luke.
She is having suicide thoughts because
She’s having seizures and is missing out from school, and can’t do her exams.
She is losing hope .She just spend her sixteen birthday in the I.C.U .PLEASE SHE NEED PRAYERS. THANK YOU ‘I AM ALSO PRAYING FOR HER .I AM A BORN AGAIN AND BELIEVE THAT IT’S POSSIBLE WITH GOD THE ALMIGHTY. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

      1. Will pray. I’m not sure if my post went through because of the link I included. Here it is again:

A ketogenic diet may help: “…recent studies show the diet lowers seizures in almost half of those who try it. No fasting or counting calories is required. A decrease in seizures is often seen in just a few months.”

        Herbs to avoid:
Gingko biloba and St. John’s wort may interact with antiseizure medications.
Kava, passionflower, and valerian may increase sedation.
Garlic may interfere with your medication levels.
Chamomile may prolong the effects of your medication.
        Schizandra may cause additional seizures.
Herbal supplements containing ephedra or caffeine may worsen seizures. These include guarana and kola.
        Mint tea

this info is from health line. I googled natural remedies for seizures.

  13. Please pray for my nephew Sam. His father which is my brother is an unbeliever and his mother and my brother are divorced and living in different states. As my brother left to go to another state to look for a better job, my nephew who is only 13 years old is having suicidial thoughts and getting into trouble in school. Please pray for him not to hurt himself or commit suicide. My brother is against God and prayers so I feel like he also needs prayers to stop calling himself an atheist. I am praying and fasting for both of them. Please pray for Sam’s mother to give my nephew all the love and attention he needs right now as she just moved in with her new boyfriend and his son. My nephew is 13 years old, going thru so many changes because his father recently left to another state before he showed any suicidial thoughts. Also, Sam recently broke off with his girlfriend and started talking about suicide in school. Thank God one of his classmates heard him and reported it to the school. Then, we found out that he might be vaping and or using alcohol in school and with his father leaving and the mother moving with her boyfriend, it seems like too many changes are going on in my nephew’s life plus the hormonal changes of a teen. Please help me pray for him not to take his life and for him and his family to accept God in their lives. Thanks for this great resource and may God bless you and heal all those dealing with similar issues.

    1. Jen I am sorry I did not say so sooner but I am praying for your nephew. Any updates?

  14. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply! Your words bring me so much comfort. I pray God blesses you many times over. You have no idea what your reply means to me.

    1. I thank the Lord for His Saving Grace and His true word everlasting God Almighty ….For His Mercy endured forever n ever ,I’ll give thanks unto the Lord God Almighty…Amen!!!!

  15. This article brought me comfort in a moment where I was searching for a reason not to commit suicide. I don’t feel 100% better but I calmed down. I’m almost homeless and a failure as a mother. My 13 yr. old has fallen behind in homeschooling and my 22 yr. old is heavily into drugs and and suffers from bipolar disorder. I can’t help but feel like our family has some kind of generational curse.

Although my situation is really bad, I feel the need to glorify Gods name because He HAS blessed me with what I feel and believe are miracles. I’ve been submitting applications for a long time now but no one calls me back. I haven’t worked for almost 7 years because my now ex-husband and I agreed that I stay home. A few years later we divorced, our home is now in foreclosure and I begged God to please have mercy on me.
Well, the next day I received a call to set up an interview for a part-time position and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. BUT before I go to the interview I have to drop off my oldest son at district court because he was charged with robbery…again. The day I got the call, I also got a call from jail. I wanted to die.

I feel terrified. Every time I receive a blessing I have to prepare myself for something really bad too. I don’t want to live like this. I’m sorry if my comment in scattered. I tried not to make it too long.

    1. Olivia..just letting you know I am your new prayer warrior.I will be praying for you and your family. What strength you have. You have endured so much….Use it all.Let your story be your power.God wants to use the very things that have broken you to raise you up and to raise up your community. You are a good mother…Weighed down by guilt and shame so that you may believe you are a failure as a mother but that is to keep you from seeing that you will be a mother to many. The broken the confused the lost and the abused are coming to receive your incredible love and shelter in a home you will not have to buy.Let go of all if it surrender it all to God who will restore you 7times more than what you have lost.A man is coming …he will be the rock in your ministry. Do not be afraid to show him all your broken pieces. He will surprise you with his gentle wisdom and calmness. do not be afraid to lean on him.Do not search for him he is on his way to you and in God’s perfect time he will simply say hello. live dear Olivia live is a secret instruction in your very name did you notice that?O-liv-ia.Look for me someday and tell me what the Lord has done for you

  16. Ask God that He cover you with the healing protective power of the blood of Jesus. This is a powerful prayer! “They overcame him [Satan} by the blood of the Lamb and the word of the testimony…”Revelation 12:11. And 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” Psalm 121:7 has a promise you can claim: “The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life, the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” You do not have to listen to the voices. They are not your own thoughts and it is great that you realize this. Do not sin because of those voices. You have a right to live and God wants you alive, or else He would have taken you home already.

However, I must say that if you continue to struggle, it is possible that the voices can be quieted by medications. I know not everyone is open to taking medications, but I did and it really helped me for a time until I could be much stronger and transform my life. I still see a psychiatrist. Whatever you may have heard—a psychiatrist is just a person who can help. You may need to try different medications to get the one that works best, but you may be extremely pleased by the end result. No one knows why the medication works so well. We just know from experience that it is the only thing that helps some people.

I will pray for you and I hope you will explore your options, eat healthy, and pray. God bless you, sister! Oxoxo

  17. I’m hearing a demonic voice saying shut up including insulting things even tries to get me to commit suicide i wish god would rescue me from this whole situation i been hearing it since 2016 it’s gotten worse with suicide I’m not asking to commit suicide neither do i want something forced from this demonic voice speaking also see things i don’t want to see

    1. Kimberly you can tell them to be gone in Jesus’ name. Just say demons, in the name of Jesus, be gone. They have to obey His name. I do it all the time, works great.

  18. Dear Linda,

If you think Tim is really in danger of committing suicide, you should call a suicide hotline or emergency services like 911. USA hotline is 1-800-273-8255. I’m not sure where you are located. If you are outside USA, google the number for your country. Safety is always first! Praying for you.

  19. My 16 year old beautiful grandaughter Hailee is in the hospital for the second time after taking all her medication, depression and anxiety meds last night. She is not saved, nor her parents. Praying for healing, deliverance, salvation and for the Lord to intervene in a miraculous way in her life. Please pray for her.

  20. I am afraid for my son, Tim, 2. Father of 5, grandpa to 5. Two heart attacks, 3 stents. A great job. Long term so-so marriage. He has been fighting life his whole life. In our last conversation he mentioned killing himself. I have had this expectation for some years for him. The Evil One has control of his mind and Tim hates everything in his life. He knows ‘of’ God and Jesus and salvation but he doesn’t have a relationship. He hates having to work, wants his work to be something fun that he can love. His wife is blind, he has two grown sons who are legally blind but out of the house. He should be rejoicing but can’t seem to appreciate the gifts God has given him. He just wants out. He gets sick every day before going to work and misses many days a month. Pray for a calmed spirit and a grateful heart so he can see what he has and that his attitude change would make a huge difference. He refuses to take any meds to get therapy.

  21. My big sister, TiAra, like the crown, just told me and my mom and little sister that we’re better off without her. Please pray for her. She’s 25 years old and has been through a lot. Pray for strength, pray that she doesn’t find that gun, pray that she doesn’t find anything to harm her. I can’t lose my only big sister. I just can’t. She’s lost and needs to be found, need to be at peace.

    1. Dear Taniea,

I will pray for Tiara. I wonder why she feels this way. Is she in therapy at all?
Please give her my website: http://Www.darknesstolight.info. Tell her to call a suicide hotline too! I am an RN and I have a personal history of overcoming from severe depression. You can give her my email if she needs a friend to talk to.

  22. Please pray for my daughter Nish she is living with depression and often contemplating suicide. She is doubting God’s word and will for her life. My daughter has 3 children and a bright future ahead of her If she can get past this battle with depression. She’s recently been baptized and joined church but due to the recurring depression she lost faith. I hate watching this and often I feel helpless also. We need prayer. Please and thank you God bless

    1. God has impressed me that I should fast and pray for Nish. This is the best way to help her. Depression can be caused by a dark force, an attack from Satan. He harrasses newly baptized people sometimes. A fast brings spiritual power and moves angels to protect. It would be good if you fast with me. When you pray, ask that Nish be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. This blood protects and heals. It is the most powerful prayer I know. I have used it to help someone who was severely harrassed since 1986. The demons left her. You should also pray for the blood to cover you and protect you. I will be praying that this dark force be sent away from your household and that there be a blessing and peace fall upon it.

      Exodus 12:13
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Revelation 12:11. Speaking of how the saints overcame Satan:

And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony…

Also, it is extremely important that you and Nish refrain from sin. This means that you must follow the Ten Commandments. This breaks any foothold Satan may have. You need to consider keeping the Sabbath commandment as well. This is a time to draw close to God and give him the time that He is requesting. The blessing is listed in Exodus 20 as being from Friday night sundown to Saturday night sundown. You may not keep it perfectly at first, but God will honor your decision to give Him glory. Do not fast on Sabbath. It is a celebration, a time to study, a time to be with family, and a time to attend church. You can prepare simple meals ahead on Friday before sundown. I pray you will get all the power and blessings you need to break this depression in Nish.

    2. Actually the sundown to sundown thing is from Genesis 1. When it says the evening and the morning were the third day in verse 13, it means that back then, days began when the sun went down.

    3. Praying for you and Nish. I pray that God offers her a light that directs her to a path that leads to see what good God has given us, what God has done for us, and what God will continue to do for us. I, too, know what it is like. I pray that Nish finds the same light that God casted over me. In his name, my God have mercy on us.

  23. Please pray for my niece Ashley E. she is on suicide watch today (2nd time)

    1. Praying now. Will also submit to prayer warriors. Please check out my website for suicide prevention. http://Www.darknesstolight.info
It is a Christian site because I feel there is much strength to be gained from the Bible. You can print some of it and bring to her to read. God bless you for your caring and love!

      1. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
        To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to [a]heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
        And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
        And the day of vengeance of our God;
        To comfort all who mourn,
3 To [b]console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
        The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
