Even When Alone, You Are Not Alone – This Is a Good Thing

treespath-light-300-webYou are never alone. God promised to never leave you nor forsake you. It may seem like you are alone, but it is at these times that you must choose to believe that He is there. You must believe that He is there solely based on the fact that the Bible says it. This is the very essence and requirement of faith – to walk, not on what you see and feel, but on what you know – a knowing based solely on what the word of God says.

Silence never means that God is not there. He of course, is always there. Silence is a test of obedience. It is the indication that you are now expected to make a decision. A decision, not based on the comfort of His overpowering presence, or the renewed leading of His Spirit, but rather, a decision based on the sufficient knowing of His will. The reason He does not speak is because He has already spoken. Silence means that you already know enough, and that it is simply time to act.

“….This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (9) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8, 9

Joshua needed to meditate day and night so that he could maintain the presence of God all day and all night.

As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from now and forever.” Isaiah 59:21

“….I will never abandon you or leave you.” (6) So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can mortals do to me?” Hebrews 13:5b, 6

These verses show what is expected of man, and what can be expected of God. Man is expected to continually ‘say’ what God has promised, and God can be expected to keep His promise. If you will keep the word of God coming out of your mouth, you will be able to keep the consciousness of God in your life, even when times are dark and lonely.

Outside of God, everyone is alone and without hope. In God, no one is alone, but the true realization of His presence only comes by faith. It is faith alone, in Christ alone, which alone moves God, when you are alone.

The reason He does not speak is because He has already spoken – through His word.

  1. If God said that man should never be alone, then where is my wife and family today? Since i always keep meeting very pathetic low life loser women all the time that like to Curse at me for just No Reason at all which makes it worse for me altogether now. Just saying good morning or hello to these women has unfortunately become so very dangerous for many of us men today since the great majority of these women today are very different from the women in the past when most women were definitely Real Ladies back then and so very easy to meet as well. God what in the world have you done to these women today when they use to be so very nice years ago?

    1. Maybe you need to fall in love with God firstborn maybe he is preppering your wife — since His children can’t just have any individual as their spouse. We are uniquely made and fragile beings; with a whole lot of Jesus. He needs to make sure who ever he places is equally yoked — not above not below your spiritual standard.

    2. Good Day, i just read your comment today on the 29th of November 2020. I pray that the Lord has sent the right women into you life. There are still good Godly women with Godly ways. Put God first place and you will meet that person that God has for you. God Bless. Blessed woman of God.

  2. I’m encouraged in the Lord for being with me I was feeling alone for a while but I began to realize that I have God.
Today I will medatate on God’s word

  3. We are never alone. Christ said that he is always with us. The eye of the Lord is always upon you, so be careful what you do and say. There is also a great company of witnesses, the angels and saints of heaven. Don’t forget your guardian angel that has been with you from birth until the day the company of angels take you away to be with your Father.(Luke 16:22) “For he will give his angels charge of you to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” (Ps 91:11-12). “See that you do not despise one of the little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of my heavenly Father” (Mt 18:10). Each of these little children has his or her own angel before God in heaven.

Christ’s original audience wouldn’t have found the reference puzzling. Jesus was drawing on the Hebrew revelation that angels are guardians of nations and individuals, adults as well as children, and they perform various assignments.
