Faith Is Measurable

Apparently, faith is measurable, at least that’s what Jesus thinks. See what He has to say about it:

“But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is {alive} today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, {will He} not much more {clothe} you? You of little faith! Matthew 6:30

Now when Jesus heard {this,} He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. Matthew 8:10

He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. Matthew 8:26

Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:31

But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread? Matthew 16:8

And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. Matthew 17:20

And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Mark 4:40

Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.” Luke 7:9

“But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is {alive} today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more {will He clothe} you? You men of little faith! Luke 12:28

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” Luke 17:5

And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and be planted in the sea’; and it would obey you. Luke 17:6

The same orderly God who created the heavens with their structured principles and laws also created the things of the spirit. His creation is precise, and His Word is precise. Just like in the physical realm, we believe that the things of the spirit are structured, orderly, and, in some way maybe known only to God, measurable. The faith walk is not formula driven but it is predictable. When you respond to the word in a certain way, you will get a certain response from God. God is sovereign and this is how He pre-determined this realm to be. This is how the Bible is written, and this is how faith works.
