Update One – (4 months) After 12 weeks of daily radiation treatment, my PSA level (prostate cancer marker) has gone from 147 (very high) to 0 (zero). For this to happen so quickly is amazing. We attacked this with everything we had – Word of God, Bible faith, personal and group prayer, a positive outlook, obedient giving, low carbohydrate diet, vitamins and supplements, radiation, and hormone therapy. I experienced very little side effects from the radiation and hormone treatments.
I am doing what I believe God wanted me to do in this, and I am definitely on course for what I was believing for. Thank you to anyone who prayed for me.
Update Two – (6 months) I just received my CT scan results and all my areas that were enlarged because of cancer are now back to normal. This is a confirmation that I am clear of material cancer. I am still on the hormone treatment to kill off (starve) cancer cells that might be floating around in my system. I am also still on the low carbohydrate diet because that also helps to starve cancer cells – cancer cells love sugar. In fact, some cancer tests (like PET scan), actually look for concentrations of sugar (fructose) because that is where the cancer will be.
Update Three – (8 months) I just received more PET and CT scan results that show that I am now back to normal. This is another confirmation that I am clear of cancer. I am still on the hormone treatment but I met with my urologist to discuss getting off the treatment. Normal treatment guidelines recommend staying on the treatment for another year or two. I am not going to do that. I believe God has told me to stay on for another six months.
Update Four – (11 months) As of yesterday I am officially off all cancer medications. I was still taking hormone depletion medication and now that can stop. This is wonderful, as I hate the effects of this. It will take 3 to 4 months for the effects to fully wear off. This is the one part of the process that was difficult for me. Changing your hormones affects all aspects of your body and thought. I gained weight and I felt weird at times. From now on, every day will a bit better than the last. They will now monitor me every few months to confirm that I am clear. However, I know in my heart that I am. Basically, it is all over. Praise God! What a journey; God was good all the way. God’s word works.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
God’s Word is medicine for our spirit, soul and body, and the way we experience its power is by speaking it out loud, praying it to God, meditating on it, and believing it. When you speak His Word over your life, it releases the power of God into your life. It won’t work for us if we just have a Bible on a shelf and leave it on a shelf. We have to use it. Use it to plant faith into your heart for healing and victory. The promises of healing in the Bible can and will heal you.
For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body.
I just found out that I have an aggressive form of prostate cancer. My PSA level (prostate cancer marker) of 147 is very high and nearly always indicates that the cancer has spread throughout the body. In my case, it had not spread, which is a miracle. It was probably due to a low carbohydrate diet that I started coincidentally at the same time the cancer probably started – in March of 2014. At that time, I had no idea that I had, or would have cancer. I started the diet to simply lose weight and feel better, which I did, but cancer loves sugar, and the diet basically starved the cancer for nine months till it was discovered. Then, when it was discovered it was, “Wow, I have cancer and I need to fight this thing with everything I can.” I doubled up on reading the Bible, listened to sermons on healing, confessed the word of God, and spent much time seeking Him on how I should approach this evil. I heard from God and the following are the scriptures and the directions I received.
Find out where your faith is, go there, and then take a stand. Don’t move from it. This is what I am believing for:
- No long-term damage
- No side effects from the medications or treatments
- It will come to an end – After all this I will be cancer free
- I will fulfill my life and destiny in Jesus Name
- My youth is being renewed and all my parts are like new
Take all the treatments and medications that you can. Do everything you can. Fight it with everything you have.
If your faith can’t move your mouth, it won’t move your mountain.When I am in the machine receiving a radiation treatment, I am saying out of my mouth, “This radiation is killing the cancer cells; they can’t live through this, they are dying, and my body is not damaged in any way.” Actually, it was funny because after a couple of weeks of treatment the radiation tech couldn’t stand it anymore and he had to ask who I was talking to while I was in the machine. I told him that I was talking to God, the devil, the world, and to my body. I was declaring the outcome before the outcome, that is faith. I was also visualizing in my mind all the cancer cells dying and my normal cells being restored and rejuvenated.

If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that heals thee. The eyes of the Lord are toward the [uncompromisingly] righteous and His ears are open to their cry. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles. Psalm 34:15, 17
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Psalm 103:2, 3, 5
I shall live and not die, and shall declare the works and recount the illustrious acts of the Lord. Psalm 118:17
He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows]. Psalm 147:3
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their body. Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life. Proverbs 4:20-23
Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. Isaiah 53:4, 5
Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. The Spirit of God is killing the cancer cells. My body’s cells are strong and alive.
And He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people. So the report of Him spread throughout all Syria, and they brought Him all who were sick, those afflicted with various diseases and torments, those under the power of demons, and epileptics, and paralyzed people, and He healed them. Matthew 4:23, 24
When evening came, they brought to Him many who were under the power of demons, and He drove out the spirits with a word and restored to health all who were sick. And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself took our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases. Matthew 8:16, 17
And behold, a woman who had suffered from a flow of blood for twelve years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment; for she kept saying to herself, If I only can touch His garment, I shall be restored to health. Jesus turned around and, seeing her, He said, Take courage, daughter! Your faith has made you well. And at once the woman was restored to health. Matthew 9:20, 22
When He went ashore and saw a great throng of people, He had compassion (pity and deep sympathy) for them and cured their sick. Matthew 14:14
And a great multitude came to Him, bringing with them the lame, the maimed, the blind, the dumb, and many others, and they put them down at His feet; and He cured them, Matthew 15:30
And great throngs accompanied Him, and He cured them there. Matthew 19:2
And He cured many who were afflicted with various diseases; and He drove out many demons, but would not allow the demons to talk because they knew Him. Mark 1:34
And He said to her, Daughter, your faith has restored you to health. Go in peace and be continually healed and freed from your [distressing bodily] disease. Mark 5:34

Confession
If you need to, make changes to the confession below to make it more real and personal to you. Faith is personal. Write down scriptures that jump out at you and take them with you.
“Wow, I have cancer and I need to fight this thing with everything I can.”Say them all the time. Say pieces of this confession all day long. Get it into your heart and speak it out. Speak it out till it is more real to you than the cancer.
I am healed. I will live and not die. I will fulfill my destiny. I will fulfill my calling. I will live out my days in Jesus Name. My faith in God is strong. I pay no attention to my body. I am healed. I will live a good life.
I am motivated and strong. I hear the voice of God and I obey His commands. My faith is alive, working, and strong. My faith is growing faster than the cancer. I curse the cancer cells and they are dying in Jesus Name. The cancer cells are dying and my cells are being renewed every day.
Lord, I hear your voice. I have the faith to win this battle. I will win. I will overcome through faith in God. I have the victory. The treatments and medications are working and I will not have any side effects.
God’s mercy and grace is sufficient for me. His power is burning out the cancer in my body. His mercy overshadows all that I am and all that I do. Lord, I receive your mercy. I receive your healing for me.
My hope is in God and in His promises alone. I will be healed. I will be whole. God is big enough. God is faithful enough. Jesus paid the price for my healing on the Cross and I will receive it. Jesus and I will not have this healing stolen from us.
I curse this sickness and I curse its effects. I will be made whole. I will not suffer long-term damage. I will not suffer side effects from the treatments. I refuse this sickness in my body and I curse it in Jesus Name. It will come to an end.
I will be healed from this cancer. I will be cancer free in Jesus Name! I am going to live and not die. The power of God is real. It is working in my body. It is healing me. It is restoring me. The Spirit of God is killing the cancer cells. My body’s cells are strong and alive. I am alive and well. I am healthy and whole.
It does not matter what I feel like. It does not matter what my mind thinks. My heart knows that I am whole. My heart knows that I am healed in Jesus Name.
God is alive. God is real. His word is real. His word is healing me. His word will do it. I am healed in Jesus Name!
Keep speaking and believing. Do not give up. Speak your hope and your faith, and not the problem. Fight it with everything you have. You will win in Jesus Name! Our faith is the Victory!

Please pray for my dad. He was diagnosed with lung cancer three years ago. His oncologist just told us that chemotherapy is no longer working and it’s time to think about hospice. Please keep my family and dad in your prayers.

I was told by Davis Univ doctors I had Prostate Cancer stage 4 very active and need radiation
and hormone treatments immediately. I prayed for 3 days and the Lord told me He had healed me, and the Lord never lies. So went back to doctors with my wife and cancelled all treatments of any kind as I told the doctors the Lord has healed me.
A few days later, a scan test at Travis AFB CA hospital said no cancer of any kind in my body. That was 8 years ago and now at age 85 no cancer. I pray and thank the Lord every day for giving me a long life so I can serve him. I write a weekly newspaper column. Please join me to pray for a sister who has been told the cancer has spread to her brain.I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and started chemo but stopped due to the side effects but I’m taking hormonal drugs.Did test in March and all my organs were normal and no cancer cell could be seen.I have faith i am completely healed for God’s glory.

I am believing My Heavenly Father for total healing and Restoration. Had my left breast cut off on Sunday 21st of May and awaiting chemotherapy. I’ve had 30 chemotherapy sessions between 2015 to 2016. God is keeping me. Currently on chemo drugs which I have stopped taking for 2weeks now. Am believing God for supernatural healing.

I am so glad that the myth about incurable cancers has been defeated in Jesus’ name. I am sorry if I am having it so wrong , God helped me to discover your website as I was doing everythin to fine scriptures thatcould help me get a cure, I have two lovely kids and a huge family depending on me, I was diagnosed and the doctors wantmy breasts cut off and worse still my liver n kidney are affected, the aggressiveness and invasive nature and the excruciating pains and the rapid decay ofmy nipples makesme know the devil is out to quickly kill me. I havenot been doing any treatment because I am confused and don’t even have all the necessary amenities , I am so confused about the whole thing but I resorted to reading and confessing the word of God and believeing that only God can heal me, please pray fro me to behealed coz I am in excruciating pains… with no treatment and also people see dreams like I am going to die buti know the Lord will not letme die .

I am getting out of the hospital tomorrow, from a surgery to remove a tumor from my lung. It has been a long journey with cancer, but there is hope. I know how it feels to lose people from cancer, I lost one back in November, and one very recently in January. God has managed to save me, and as much as this hurts to say, if He takes a loved one, it means that person has accomplished what He wanted for them in life. I find it very hard to believe that when I am told because both my friends were 12 when they passed, how could they have achieved what they were meant to? But as much as we dread losing a loved one, and as much as it hurts (and believe me I understand how much it hurts to lose a loved one) we must try to remember that they are now with the Father, where there are no tears, or sorrow. They are rejoicing, and we must try to open our eyes to that. Kathryn, I hope the very best for you and your dad. There is always hope!

I am waiting for the Dr to call with results of my Dad’s PET scan after finding a mass in his left lung. The anxious feeling I have had for weeks seemed to calm as I read your site. I’ve been meaning for a long time now to thank you for your site and your wisdom. I read of your cancer diagnosis. Praise Abba for your healing! For 13 years our Lord has kept me strong and without any treatment for my diagnosis of CLL Leukemia. Alleluia. This week a new chapter starts. I begin treatment for the leukemia on Tuesday. As so 13 years ago, I still believe Jesus paid an unimaginable price that we have salvation and redemption from our sins and for our complete health. Praise be to Him. I come to your web site almost daily and I use your confession page often. Thank you Rex , for it is a mighty tool. If i may be so bold, please raise me up in prayer to our Wonderful God during worship with the brothers and sisters. Again, thank you for all your work at hopefaithprayer.

I am having a MRI done this Friday. I had a left breast lymphadenpathy (a cyst the size of a golf ball remove) Before the cyst was remove the doctors thought it was the size of a marble and did a needle bio which show no cancer cells. They were hoping it would dissolve on its own . I found cyst in September. My cyst was remove January 12 and it wa cancer cell found. My mammogram was clear so now the cancer is in my body but they dont know. I thank you for sharing scriptures and asked for your prayers.

I’ve experienced success and failure over the years when it comes to using God’s Word to get the victory over the tests and trials of life. I’ve learned over time that my heart attitude towards God, the situation and what happens next is instrumental in determining what happens next.
Recently, I had a lump appear on my scalp and although I couldn’t see it myself, I could feel it and my friend (who’s also a Christian) told me, “You need to have that looked at immediately if that doesn’t disappear.” In between the lines, I heard, “If God doesn’t manifest healing, you’re in trouble.”
Before I ever prayed, I had to deal with fear, concern, worry and all the “little thoughts” that I knew would come my way (potentially) in the days, weeks and months ahead.
Fear and it’s little brothers – concern and worry are just as dangerous as the problem itself. And so, I went to God and poured out my heart 100% about the whole situation from A-Z. Basically, once I said “Amen” and then followed by speaking directly to the problem according to Mark 11:23, to live or die, there was no going back.
It was either 100% commitment with God’s help or nothing. In the morning when showing and washing my hair, I would feel it there and immediately, thoughts would come. I would then reaffirm my stand and treat the situation like I was brushing off a gnat. A week or so later I was watching TV with my girlfriend (maybe my wife some day!). She asked about growth and that she wanted to check it. I’d honestly hadn’t thought about it in a few days so I told her to “go ahead.”
Immediately, I told myself, “I don’t care what she says, all I know is what Mark 11:24 and 23 says.” I forced all the “what do you think you’ll do if” type of thoughts out. I wouldn’t deal with them. I thought, either God’s Word is true or it isn’t. Either He’s faithful or He isn’t. Either He’s really watching over me or He isn’t. I already settled those issues and reaffirmed them, so that was that.
Finally, she stopped searching and said, “It’s totally gone! I can’t find anything!”
Thank you Lord!
God’s faithful. He’ll help you deal with your fears so you can believe and not doubt. This truth changed my life and continues to do so. You just have to learn how to keep things simple and not intellectualize things too much. The more intellectual or complex you get with your approach to these things, the more arguments you’ll have to deal with in your thought life.
Jim – Outstanding! Faith in God is work (not works) but it is worth it. Not only did you forgo the issue of possible skin cancer but you were very pleasing to Jesus.
