sarahsleeping-abigail-350-webWithin the confines of marriage, it is God’s will for you to conceive and give birth to a healthy wonderful child. Read and confess these scriptures until faith drops into your heart. You will know when it does, just like one knows when they are pregnant. The Bible says that everything is like a seed, everything after its own kind. And again, like everything else we can receive from God, it comes through faith:

Through faith did Sarah herself also receive bodily power for the conception of seed, even when past the age of maternity, simply because she felt that He who had given the promise was true and faithful. Hebrews 11:11 A.S Way Translation

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD! Psalm 113:9

I am come that (you) might have life, and that (you) might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b

Confess these scriptures and get them down deep in your heart. Others can pray for you, and we will pray for you, but you are the best one to pray for you and successful prayer comes through faith. The more you ‘know’ the will of God concerning a certain thing the more access to God you will have on that thing. Once God speaks to you and confirms the promise to you heart, you have it. Then all you have to do is speak it out, act on it, and with patiently for it. Speak and meditate on the following scriptures until they become a part of you:

Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Genesis 1:28

After the flood God again commanded Noah and his family and said, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Genesis 9:1

Isaac pleaded with the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was unable to have children. The LORD answered Isaac’s prayer, and Rebekah became pregnant (with twins). Genesis 25:21

Then Esau looked at the women and children and asked, “Who are these people with you?” “These are the children God has graciously given to me, your servant,” Jacob replied. Genesis 33:5

“The midwives answered Pharaoh, ‘Hebrew women (God-fearing women) are not like Egyptian women, they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive.’” Exodus 1:19 Lord, thank you that I have vigor and strength to deliver this child you have given us!

“The Lord is my strength and my song. He had become my salvation.”  Exodus 15:2 Lord, You are my song in the light and in the dark. I will always sing to you, my Savior and my strength.

You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock. Deuteronomy 7:14

If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God: Deuteronomy 28:1-2, 4, 11

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. 1 Samuel 1:27 Hannah’s prayers for a child were answered.

“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.” 2 Samuel 22:33 Lord, You make the way of our baby’s delivery perfect. You cause my body to be strong and work perfectly in order to glorify yourself in the delivery of our child.

“In my distress I called to the Lord, I cried to God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.” Psalm 18:6 Lord, I call to you for any help I will ever need, no matter what my situation. I call on You first… and you hear my call.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” Psalm 46:1-2 Lord, You are the only ever-present one. Thank you for being with us during labor and delivery. I will not fear.

For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psalm 84:11

He gives the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother. Praise the LORD! Psalm 113:9

“Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” Psalm 119:165

Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward. As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth. Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. Psalms 127:3, 4, 5

Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. Psalm 128:3

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” Psalm 139:14 Lord, You made me. You created me to carry and deliver children. Thank you for making me in such a wonderful fashion.

“A heart at peace gives life to the body.” Proverbs 14:30

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3 Lord, You are my supernatural, perfect peace. I know your peace and will know it during labor and delivery of this child. My focus is on You and your goodness.

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” Isaiah 40:30-31 Lord, You will renew my strength during delivery. My strength will not wear out because it is from You and my hope is in You.

“So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 Because You, Lord, are staying with me throughout my labor and delivery, I have no reason to fear.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…” Isaiah 43:2 Lord, thank you for not leaving us alone. Thank you for being with our baby as it passes through the waters in my womb.

“I, even I, am He who comforts you.” Isaiah 51:12 Thank you, Holy Spirit, for always being my comfort. You always bring the comfort I need.

“…and great will be your children’s peace (shalom).” Isaiah 54:13

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 66:9

But the angel said to him, Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. Luke 1:13, 14

Abraham’s faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:17-18

“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 Lord, I confess I can do this through You. It is You who gives me strength.

By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11

God’s promise is for a healthy full-term pregnancy and delivery. Believe Him for it. Stand your ground in faith.

For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. Psalms 139:13

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. Psalms 139:14

You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. Psalms 139:15 [ see also Jeremiah 1:5, Luke 1:15, and Galatians 1:15]

But You are He who took Me out of the womb. You made Me trust while on My mother’s breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. From My mother’s womb You have been My God. Psalms 22:9-10

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God. Isaiah 66:9

Fight fear with all you have. Remember, the presence of fear does not mean danger, it just indicates the presence of fear. We, with the help of the devil, make the connection to danger. See – Scriptures Against Fear

Jesus loves infants and children!

Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them. But when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. Jesus said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Luke 18:15-16

But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them. Mark 10:13-16

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me. Matthew 18:1-5

  8. I thank God for the blessing of this site & encouraged by the prayer/scriptures by Donna as well those testimonies. Pls those sisters who are parents in waiting should not give up on God or on their selves.
My testimony is that I have been standing on Ps 113 v9 & other scriptures for 14years. While waiting on God my husband had two children by an egg donor of a failed IVF. Am still standing & overwhelmed as I discovered I am pregnant 2weeks ago when I did a pregnancy test by faith after watching a testimony of a sister who did same & could not believe my eyes & had to repeat twice & show a nurse & doctor to confirm it!!
I have not shared this with any one at home yet only my prayer partner but will once I had a scan done done. To God be All the Glory!!

  9. He is a God of signs and Wonders. The Bible says we shall declare a thing and it shall be established. Stay Blessed and may the Heavens open upon your lives Amen

  10. This site has been a God send to me. I have been married for four years, and no pregnancy. My husband had fertility problems but he was healed. We both want children, but he decided to go a different route, by getting someone else pregnant. This has been a difficult time for us. But by the grace of God, I’m not giving up on us having our child, nor have I given up on this marriage. As an older wife, I believe in God’s promise to Sarah and Elizabeth. My husband and I love each other. I am standing in faith, that our child will be conceived. Thank you faith mechanic, for teaching me how to reignite my faith. “He make the the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children”

  11. Thank you for your encouragement! It is like rain in the desert.

My mother-in-law just called, and again spoke doubt and discouragement into our future. It was done in such a sly way that I did not know how to respond to her. But then I remembered that you have reminded me of what God has done to bless the barren woman by opening her womb, and by doing so, He shut the mouth of the woman who’d harrassed her. (Forgive her, Father, she does not know what she is doing)

So I am responding now by reading His Word and praying it. We all are coming here with hope and faith, waiting on God… some of us are hurting and weary. “A bruised reed He will not break, a smoldering wick He’ll not snuff out…” Jesus tells us that even if our faith is as small as a seed, it can grow, it can move mountains. My faith is tiny right now. Jesus, please give us strength, increase our faith. We wait on the Father for a precious gift from His heart- children. May they all be for Your glory, beautiful Lord. Amen.

  12. i absolutely love these testimonies. You all gave me great inspiration and hope. i know my god will bless my husband and i with our bundle of joy soon. 14. when we find that moment of peace ,not because all our desires have been answered, but we feel weak to fight again.
we feel like we have lost the battle.
The truth is the devil wants us to feel weak after trusting God for along time and nothing happens. My message to us ,is we do not retreat because the devil has won,NO,we surrender to God because His plans are not our plans, and His time not our time.
To all the ladies here, let the Devil know he will never win the battle against us,its only Gods will that shall prevail in us.
If my husband left me because i haven’t given Him a kid,it does not mean the Devil has won,it means God has just allowed His will to prevail.Hope this will help someone out there.

    1. Author

Leah – This is a tough issue and the balance is hard to find. We do not have peace because we are too weak to keep fighting. The Bible says to ‘not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.’ We do not have peace because the defeat may be God’s will. Defeat is not His will.

Some things take a long time and that may be God’s will. Some things will never come because something is not right, and we must make a change. The difficulty is in determining which is the case – to keep waiting as you are, or to change. The answer only comes by seeking and spending time with God in prayer and in the word. We are NEVER to retreat and we are NEVER to give up in what we are believing for in God. But what if it never comes? In others, we may never know the answer, it is a mystery. In our own life, we must take it to God to find out why. We just can’t just say that the defeat is God’s will when it is not.

So, here is the question – as a Christian do we and can we ever suffer a defeat? I believe the answer is yes. All over, the Bible says outright and implies that if we do not believe and we do not stand firm we will not have victory. Faith, the Bible says, is the victory. If your husband leaves you because you have no child, that is a loss and a defeat. Your husband has lost and will lose more because of his lack of faith, faithfulness, and obedience. You would lose him but maybe God would have someone better for your later, but it is still a current loss. To say that every loss and every defeat is not a loss or a defeat because it is ‘God’s will’ does not align with the Bible and does not produce peace.

I surely do not understand everything and I do not understand all of this, especially the how and whys of why something does not work. But I believe that God is a good God and if there is a problem it is on our side. We have to honestly and brutally examine ourselves to make sure we ‘are in the faith.’ It is too easy to pass off things that we do not understand as simply God’s will.

  15. Normally I read through these websites and never post anything, but today something was different. I have 2 fibroids and have always been fearful of not being able to children. Lately I read bible scriptures and break down in tears because I know anything is possible through the Lord. My faith has increased I trust in him because I know I know it is not in Gods will to withhold any blessings from me. I pray for everyone who has posted on this site and the person who made it. In Jesus name , Amen!

    1. Hi Tara,

Just want to boldly say that God can get you pregnant with those fibroids…when i was told that i have them, they said i cant get pregnant and i was scared but i told God that Lord show yourself. It wasnt long after that when i got pregnant with those fibroids but unfortunately i lost the baby at 2months but im still trusting God to do miracles in my body. We are going to carry those babies to full term! My boss had her babies with multiple fibroids so it just goes to show that there is nothing too hard for our Father. He is faithfully:-)

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” Psalm 139:14 Lord, You made me. You created me to carry and deliver children. Thank you for making me in such a wonderful fashion.

  16. I know that God can do anything, he has heal me from cancer, a broken foot and hand.He is friend, healer ,provider, and protector.Ask and believe you have already receive it,I l know he works miracles, nothing is to big for him. He is just.

  17. Gods promise and will is for us to conceive and have a healthy child. We just have to believe in his promise and his timing. I have waited for four long years just hoping in God . The devil causes fears and doubts and delays our results which we need to overcome in faith. Believe the word and fight out the fear,God answers as he just answered me. Praise and glory to the Lord in Jesus name

  18. Thank u very much for the inspirational stories of how God intervened in each woman’s life.. My husband and I have been married since 2014 and we’re still waiting for our little miracle. I too have come to a point where I lost all my faith in God and blamed Him for not caring about me, my hurts, my cries and I’ve also come to the point where I sometimes refuse to meet my husband’s family because I am so ashamed. The wife of my husband’s brother has since gave birth to 2 children which has added on to my shame. But, thank you to this site and your wonderful stories and prayer lines.. My faith in God is restored and I pray that you’ll forgive me Father God. I now know that all I need to do is let God take control of my life because His timing is always the right and best time! Please remember us in your prayers.

  21. I m so encouraged by the testimonies and prayers. Let us not cease in praying for faithful is He that promise,He will not fail. God will grant us all our heart desires to the glory of His name alone. Amen,Shalom!

  22. I came to this site in search for encouragement in the faith for couples trying to conceive. My mother in law has been speaking discouragment and fear to us about pregnancy since my husband and I wed a year ago. Yet I remember many times in the last 10 years when the Lord has spoken blessings of a husband, pregnancy and family into my life. I have moved to a new country, far away from my loving church family, and it is easy to feel invaded by the many discouraging words this woman speaks, even though I practice forgiving and praying for her. I need to repent of my doubt and stand firm in faith. I cannot do it alone. I thank God for His Will, His Word, His Timing. I thank God for someone who cared enough about barren couples to stand with the sword of truth and fight for us. I thank God for His testimony through people sharing here. I thank God for the few faithful friends willing to believe and pray and confess that God can and is willing to do in us what is impossible for us to do. May He bless us with children who LOVE HIM! In Jesus Christ’s powerful name and in His Blood I trust, praise and pray. Amen.

    1. Hi Jennifer,I feel you ,and one thing is for sure we will keep praying and God will hear us.He knew us before we were conceived.Imagine the plans He has for us, So great that we cant fathom .
This is a prayer team,of people who are experiencing the same challenges in life.
Remember the way Hanna suffered from Penina’s mockery, but God one day answered her prayers and took the shame away from her.Lets keep praying for one another and encouraging each other,it might be the only hope some of us need.

      All shall be well.

      Leah.

  23. I’m so stirred and encouraged by your testimony. This week I got a doctor’s report that my entire womb and fallopian tubes have been eaten and engulfed by fibroids that cannot be removed unless I have a hysterectomy.

But I rely on the report of the Lord. I know He will open my womb, heal it and resurrect it to best health. I stand on His promises that I will have a healthy conception, pregnancy and delivery. Our child will be a testimony of the Lord’s goodness.

We remain confident in this. God is in control. He is the great “I AM” Our Lord is the doer of what man and science says is impossible.

So I declare in the name of Jess that the fibroids will be dissolved, that my womb will be resurrected, that the tubes will be one healthy again.

The enemy is defeated and my God is in control. Thank you Jesus in advance for our son. AMEN

    1. Dear Lee,
May God do for you what He did for Ngozi. She testified here on April 12th, and her story starts off like yours. Now she is greatly blessed. So you too stand firm on faith, and pray in God’s Word. Put on the full armor of God, and do not give up! Our Lord Jesus Christ is Alive and active now, healing people who believe Him all over this earth.
