To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Col 1:27
Discover what you are in Christ, and what He is in you. When you do, your life will change forever. You won’t have bad days and sin will no longer be your occasional master. It is one thing to know about Christ and His work, and quite another to experience the reality of His work in your life. One way to make Him real in your life is to confess the scriptures about what He has done for you.
The Word of God is spirit and life! The Bible tells us to meditate on the Word of God, to ponder it, dwell on it, and say it to ourselves. In this way, God is able to plant the scriptures into our hearts. This seed then grows and the Word of God becomes alive and personal to us. Over time, this process reveals the righteousness of God to us, and transforms us into His image.
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of God.” Luke 8:11
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
The mini-book In Him by Kenneth E. Hagin is a classic. It is a wonderful resource of Christ-in-you scriptures, and yet it is small enough to fit in your pocket or purse. Take it with you and pick out a scripture. Confess it to yourself as you walk, drive, or do whatever. Talk the scripture back to yourself in your own words. I challenge you. Do it. You may not sense anything for a day or two, but soon you will, keep going. When His work for you becomes real in your heart, you won’t be able to not feel it.
It will destroy depression. It will dissolve hurt, anger, and bitterness. It will open the door to hope, faith, and happiness.
Go ahead. Use the confession of His word to build His victorious life into your life. What we are in Christ is the foundation of everything else that we have in God. Begin right now and start making it a reality. Experiencing what He did for you will change your life faster than anything else will.
