  1. Sorry but this part needs revision:

For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his go Philippians 2:13

    1. Author

Helen – Got it. Will fix. Thank you so much. Rex

  2. I have a problem, I read the scriptures, pray, go to church and my problem I asked and
asked to be baptize in the Holy Spirt, I desire the baptize and I just read John 8;47
if I don’t His voice I’m not a child of God that really hit, I’m praying and believing that
God will heal me from bone-cancer, I have repented more than I remember. maybe
I think more with my mind and with the heart.

    1. Lupe – Repenting is one thing … Have you received the righteousness of Christ? Romans 3:21-24. Do you believe you are covered with the blood of Jesus and that you are now in right standing with God? Do you believe you have done nothing to earn your way to heaven but only that the Son has set you free by His perfect sacrifice? Do you believe that you are a child of God and can go boldly before the throne of the One True God? Hebrews 4.

There is a book – if you can order it – it is called Two Kinds of Righteousness by E.W. Kenyon – please read if possible.

    2. Dear Lupe,
Asking for the baptism of the holy spirit requires that as you are praying, you also allow the flow of the spirit of God to lead you into speaking in tongues which is the evidence of baptism in the holy spirit. Do not resist speaking in tongues when the spirit of God leads you to that breakthrough point because that is exactly what you have been praying for. Pray in faith and allow the spirit of God to take you over as you pray along.

Secondly, having repented of your sins and your have received forgiveness, have faith and believe that God will answer your prayers for healing. Healing is the bread of Hus children. You may or may not experience immediate healing. Healing could also come progressively. Just be convinced and resolute that your healing will come. You also need to pay attension to the sins and ways of life that you have repented from, including what you eat and the environment you live or work in, if they are related to the cause of your ailment, and avoid repeating them, so that the sickness does not re occur after you’re healed. Look into your diet especially and let the wisdom of God and the counsel of experienced people in your church guide you. God bless you. May your testiony of perfect healing come in good time. Amen.

      1. Not everyone gets the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit gives these gifts as He chooses. As soon as you ask Jesus to forgive you, you are saved and you’re filled with the Holy Spirit. Secondly, not everyone is healed. We cannot understand this, why God heals some and not others. It’s a mystery of God.

    3. Check out Dodie Osteen’s book, Healed of Cancer. She had terminal cancer and was sent home to die. Almost 40 years later she is alive and well. It’s a wonderful book. Expect your healing and know that God’s will is that you have life and that more abundantly.

  3. Hi there dear Amber and blessed day to you. This is Elizabeth. I stumble upon this website and writing to you I know is not by coincidence and praying this note would guide you what you want to hear from God, our only Creator.
Today, Nov. 24, 2018…. I received two messages around 9am that says, “Don’t worry…you came from dust, you’ll return to dust”
and then another message came, “Hearing His Voice by those who follow Him”?
Maybe these Scriptures will help you from being confused. We visited wildfires victims last Monday and as we see so many families greiving right now due to calamity disasters, caravan issues, etc… Our God who died on the CROSS are calling for humanity to Repent ?and hear His Voice.?
My 16 yr. old son and I have online Bible study and our Facebook is Savy Vega. Hope you can join us too and Have a blessed day everyday ?and God bless you all.?

  4. Sheri,
    I just want to say..
God will give you confirmation and for myself, he has done it by “3’s”! All through the bible, things happen by
” 3’s”. So, for me i look for God to not only confirm but confirm by “3” and he will. Also, if you miss a confirmation by God, God will put it on someone else heart and that person will confirm it to you. Good luck with your walk and faith in the lord!
    God bless
    Jessica hylton

    1. Hi there Jessica,
This is Elizabeth. Since you mentioned number 3… please watch our video that shows huge number 3 in the sky, in front of a cloud that formed like a bird with open wings.

  5. Amber,
Do what’s right and shine the light! Measure all you don to the word of God – New and Old Testament- in the light of Christ! His death & resurrection redeemed you from fear and doubt.
The more you “spend time” with Him the more you will “know” Him then you will hearHim:)) We all fall short of this every day but relationship “grows” by failures, endurement and preservirence!
Sometimes we just do t want to work that hard do we? :)) Hint Hint…that is why marriages are in such decline:((
God help us to just seek Him one day at a time in love and forgiveness! We can do this! Amen.

  6. Not spending time on any relationship brings distance. You are already forgiven for all your sins great or small, that is what Jesus suffered and died for.
All you need to to is befinf ro spend “time” with God- not church, rosary, singing, duties and obligations or legalities but true relationship like; “hello God, thank you for loving me so much and being so patient with me your child that you love” etc etc
Then as the (any) relationship grows then you feel connected, loves and will hear his voice clearly:))

  7. Amber you just answered your own question. You have to get in his word to know what He wants from you. You have to have His word in your heart. Get a relationship with Him, seek Him.

  8. I’m so inspired and encouraged by everyone’s comments here. Your pain shows you’re in the right place! We all long for a greater sense of God’s presence. We know He’s here, we know He dwells within us as Christians, but we don’t experience Him as much as we would like. One thing I know. You can take it to the bank. God is good. And he will reveal Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart. (Jer 29:13). If not He wouldn’t have promised us this! He is the one who plants the desire in us in the first place! Keep seeking until you get the communion with Him that you so desire. He wants this more than you do!

  9. Ok…. I want to hear god. I do. When I think I hear what he wants me to do I doubt it and wonder if it is just me telling myself what I want to hear or what to do. But is what I want and my thoughts placed there by the Lord? I am so lost with in my life and need to know what to do. There are alot of people’s comments I have read and I know they are people in so much harder times then myself. Then I feel guilty about not being thankful enough for what I have. But im lost so I feel I need help. And still wonder if what I hear or feel is only what I make up in my mind or if it is something god is really telling me…… But maybe im being to lazy in following the Lord and worshiping him. That could be why im so lost. I know I can to better but have been lazy in that part of my life. I just dont know anymore….

    1. Amber, there is a Bible-based prayer “coaching” called Transformation Prayer, that will help you find your way to God’s heart, through these confusing emotions. He will speak to you and give you peace and direction in this process. Look up the website to find out where you can receive this kind of prayer coaching: transformationprayer.org

    2. Amber,
I believe that by looking through scripture we can believe that God speaks to all of His childern. It is our part to actively listen and obey. Knowing whether you are hearing your own thoughts or God’s voice can be tough! Try starting off small when learning to hear God’s voice. One excersise I like to do is asking Him: Lord what bible story would you like to put me in today?
And then just let your mind go where it goes beliving that He is speaking to you. Then ask: Lord which character am I in this story. Why? Where are you in this story? And just see what He shows you. Remember that His voice will be kind like a Father’s voice to His child. Once you get comfortable with doing safe exercises like these then it becomes so much easier to discern His voice when you ask Him the big life questions!
      Danielle

    3. Do you still feel this way Amber? I understand this, and have gone through a similar feeling and part of life before! If you still feel this way and want help walking through this journey, I would love to help. 🙂

    4. So, I have been asking God for direction in my life; Yes? No? Last night while I was sleeping, my body expelled a deep, gutteral, breathy like “whoosh” out of my mouth that said “NO” It woke me up. As soon as I said out loud, What was that? I knew… and fell peaceful back to sleep. This morning while reading my daily devotion from “Jesus Calling” for Aug 24th, I read the page and searched the bible for the scripture that each page has at the bottom. Psalms 139:1-4 but for some reason as I read verses
1-4, I focused on verse 3, which reads “Thou does scrutinize my path and art intimately acquainted with all my ways.” The marginal notes say scrutinize = winnow, so I looked up the definition of winnow and it says “Blow a current of air through…” and for path, it also means Journeying. So then, Thou dost blow a current of air to my journeying and my lying down. (my breath-like ‘NO’ from the night) A few hours later I flipped my bathroom daybrightener to the correct day: Aug 24 and read this: You chart the path ahead of me, and tell me where to stop and rest. Psalm 139:3!!!!!!!!! Isn’t that Awesome?!!! Talk about confirmation! Not once, not twice, but 3 times! What a beautiful confirmation to his guidance for me.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27

  10. Sin does separates you from that, so I pray that as you’re more obedient to his will for your life he will reveal himself and you like never before. You have to let Him edify your heart and begins to leave you in his perfect will.

  11. In this present time in my life . I know God loves me, but I feel a distance between us. I want more of Him. Pray that I be totally submissive to Gods leading and give me eyes to hear and a better understanding of God direction in my life. Because of my disobedience. My prayer also is that God restore every Blessing that I have missed because of sin.

  12. I Feel Like The Holy Spirit Is Not Spontaneous In My Life As Before.I Have Prayed But Not Coming Up Really.
Please, remember Me In Your Prayers.God Bless You All

  13. My name is Tammie, please pray for the Holy Spirit to touch my ears and eyes.. giving me spiritual eyes to see, and ears to hear . For understanding…. That i will Finally walk in the power of God..not in my own way! Thank you.

    1. Tammie, the Spirit is in you. An intimate relationship with Jesus will produce what you seek. All you have to do is ask. Matthew 7:7 reassures us that if we seek , we will find, and if we ask it will be given. If you feel there is something keeping you from hearing His voice with your spiritual ears, I have found an amazing book by Priscilla Shirer ” Discerning the voice of God” you can find her on YouTube also. Praying for you right now:)

  14. I am grateful for hope faith prayer with others. Im being taught every day about Gods word. To be ” strong and courageous” and to believe.

  15. Hi,
Could you guys please help me find scripture passages about peace and hearing? Have a good night!
    Thank you,
    Sophia

  16. I am going through a similar situation.I have had the same problem since I was a small child.I wish I could give you an answer but I am on this website because I need answers myself.I am going to keep praying for clarity and hope God answers me and that I am wise enough to realize that the answer is from him.

    1. English Standard Version

      James 1:5-7
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Ask of the Lord, and trust that he is true to His word. He will speak to you, do not allow the enemy to lie to you and get you thinking that God only answers some. He answers all. Even here it is stated if “any” lacks wisdom. That really means anybody!

Seek him with your whole heart, that is with sincerity. You may find the answer to your questioning comes quicker than you think. He will speak to you with a still small voice and reveal himself to you and the Holy Spirit may even bring to your mind with pictures the answer/root cause.

      Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. ‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD.

If you are struggling with unbelief, do not worry, again ask of God. “Help me in my unbelief” and God will reveal himself to you.

      Mark 9:23-24
And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

      John 20:24-27
Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin,d was not with them when Jesus came. 25So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”

Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.”
