2. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Read Proverbs 4:6 and let God know that you want to know him. Listen, then pray again tomorrow. God wants us to talk to Him and if you listen quietly He will speak to you.

  3. Why are there so many christian leaders that preach, “we do not know if it is God’s will to always heal the sick; it might be a sickness for His glory .” Does anyone know where this thinking first started? It seems these type of individuals have always tried to thwart great men and women of faith at every turn.

    1. This type of preaching always starts with the inability of pastors to actually have their prayers answered, to heal the sick, to expel demons – to do ANYTHING that Christ commanded us to do. Even to do the most fundamental miracles (forgive, love, sacrificially help) are not a spiritually deep part of the modern “church”.

    1. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Read Poverbs 4:6 and then be still and listen. Let God know you want to know Him. Do it again tomorrow.

  4. I am so happy I have a righteous standing before God. Forever ! Thru Jesus the Christ. In all my ways I acknowledge God’s wonderful salvation in every area. I am dead to sin by His doing alone, and raised up by His doing alone. I am so thankful I am no more “married ” to the law, but rather I am joined to another, that I may bear fruit. I am part of the body of Christ, and He lives in me, as He lives in you. The “old” me died. The “new” me lives, full of the Holy Spirit. God says so ! I worship Him in spirit and truth. His word to me is spirit and truth. What I feel and experience must not dislodge me from confessing God’s word. This web site from Rex has helped me to stand in God’s grace.

    1. these scripture / prayers / confessions are very good! i hope someone would be able to put something like this together to helonus pray for our elected government officials and for our county, both are in great need of great prayer warriors. thank you for this, it’s very helpful!!!

      1. i hope someone would be able to put something like this together to HELP us pray…
apologies for not checking previous post. Thank you

  5. Hi my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I am in need of your faith as i am going through a stalker situation and this is tearing up my relationship. I believe the is also witch craft behind all this. I have bound the devil spirits and confessed the blood over my life. But as it is written that if two or more stand in my name it will be done according to my father in heaven. So i am believe in total freedom from this spirit and i tie the evil spirit as it is commanded in the bible. But i need fellow Christians to tie this evil with me and stand with me. I thank you all and send blessing to you all in Jesus name.

  6. How do you ACT like you are the righteousness of God? Isn’t that putting somebody under law again ? And if you can’t ACT like the righteousness of God you walk around feeling guilty all over again ???

  7. In John 3:6 Jesus says, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit in spirit.”

In the above scripture and in your scripture reference you will notice that Spirit is capitalized. In the Bible ‘Spirit’ capitalized stands for the Holy Spirit of God the Father and Jesus Christ. The fruit of the Spirit comes as a result of our relationship, working, and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives. This fruit results not from ourselves but from God after we have been born again. John 14 explains much about our relationship with the Spirit. John 3 about being ‘born again.’

We by ourselves can never do anything heavenly without the Holy Spirit. The things people do are just things they do: works or acts.

  8. I recently heard and saw a preacher refer to Fruit of the Spirit & Fruit of the Flesh (Gal 5v19 onwards).I thought there must be a reason why the bible calls it Fruit of the spirit and works (not fruit) of the flesh.

Can someone shed more light on this?

    1. Author

Sorry, I have not studied it. I will try to get to it. There is a reason why it is referred to as ‘works’ and not ‘fruit.’ Everything in the Bible has a purpose. We will be studying it for eternity. We love you. Rex

    2. Our spirit, born-again of the Holy Spirit, bears or produces this “fruit “(nature & characteristics) of God’s Spirit. The “works” (acts) of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) are the result of the nature or character of our carnal, sinful flesh that is not born again. Thus, living a life of the flesh is laborious, strenuous, & hard, for it is based on self effort & performance, but living according to & following after your heart or reborn spirit is far superior & easier. Matt. 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good–not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.”

  9. I was looking for prophetic words from Kenneth Hagin and came upon your website, which I really like and am praying for the anointing of Holy Spirit to continue to bless you with overflowing and unending wisdom, knowledge and discernment with your ministry.

    1. Author

Peggy – Thank you. I receive it in Jesus Name! God bless you. Keep putting the word inside of you. That is Kenneth E. Hagin Sr. used to say and still is in Heaven. He was a good clean man. My wife went to Rhema and I worked there for a short while. Look at our article on Word of Faith, and tell me what you think. We love you. Rex

  10. Absolutely agree with Bro. Jijo a separate section on the mighty Holy Spirit will be very useful…. You are doing a marvelous works..

  11. I don’t know if this is the right place to do this but I am surprised you don’t have any “Marriage” Topics. It is an area that I feel needs a lot of prayer; at least for me it does right now. I am wondering if you have any scriptures about our obligation in marriage.

    1. There is a great book that I think would help you greatly. “Power of a praying wife”. By Stormie Omartian All her books are pretty awesome. She has scriptures in them and prayers you can pray over your marriage. Look on she has a bunch of books.

Sheilagh – No problem. There will be a link on the bottom of any email that is sent to you. God bless you. Rex

  12. A good place to find out truths in Bible….
Please create a section on Holy spirit…
    Heavenly Father bless you

Jijo Joy – I really like your name! – I am in the process of doing a major study on the Holy Spirit. God gave me something the other day that altered the way I look at the differences between how non-spirit filled people and spirit filled people relate to the Holy Spirit. Beyond that, the work of the Holy Spirit is currently heavy on my mind.

Creating a distinct section on the Holy Spirit is a great idea. It is difficult to rearrange web pages once they are issued but I may need to do exactly that. Relating to the work of the Holy Spirit is central to walking and hearing from God, and hearing from God is central to the process of faith. Thank you so much. Rex

      1. I think this is the first time I hear that, somebody really likes my name… Thank you 🙂 …
I really want to walk by the Spirit of God….

  13. Dear Beloved,

I’m interested and desired to witness Jesus and be His servant! But something in me is always saying, you can’t do it, you’re not qualify, you don’t have all what it take! I need a prayer and good advise please,

Lucky – It is a lie from Hell. You can do it. Just go out and tell them what you do know. It is that simple.

  14. For me to have stormed on this Ministry at this period of my marriage, It’s an evidence that God has answered my prayers IJN. Pls pray with me , I am trusting God for the heritage He promised to give me(fruits of the wound), it’s my 3rd year in marriage. God promised through His servants last year (2014)that I will come with my children to Convention this year,I still believe in this promise even if I don’t go with them physically, they must be in my WOMB.Convention is next month. I believe God honors His word and I know I will share my testimony. Thank you.

    1. please pray for me I’ve got a drink problem through some bad experiences I pray and fast when I can I really want to get free

      1. Les, I ask God right now on your behalf to deliver you from any and all bad addictions. I ask our Father to come in and take away the desire for you to drink and remove any bad habits that is doing you harm or those around you any harm. Know that God does not condem you but that He loves you unconditionally and your are His child and you have been forgiven. His love for you is so great so pray and confess that you are clean, sober, healed, whole, and your life may be filled with joy. I ask God to restore in your life any relationship that has been destroyed because of addictions and make it better than it was before. I believe He has already done this for you. Each morning confess that your life is whole and then begin thanking God that He has delievered you and restored your health and family. In Jesus Name…love you

  15. I’ve been perusing through your wonderful website…and by the way it’s pretty darn good…but not a single topic, line item, link, squat on marriage! You got something against marriage or what??

Let’s see some improvements around here!

      1. Oh, I just read this. I guess this is not a topic for this site. Too bad. You must not be married. I thought all men were “experts”. HAHA. Maybe God will put this on your heart in the future. It is a topic that women like to read and talk about.

David – If you have received Christ as your Savior, then you are no longer a ‘sinner’ but rather, you are now the ‘righteousness of God in Christ.’ Act that way and believe that way. Please read any one of these articles.

If Christ is not your Savior, please read this – Salvation – God’s Deal. God bless you

    2. A sinner does as a sinner thinks. If you have received Christ as your savior, you are washed in the blood and viewed as righteous in the eyes of God. A new creature in Christ. However, slips and falls may occur and yes, you will sin. It’s the way of the world in which we live. Thank God for repentance and Grace. He’s got a great plan free from guilt and condemnation.

May God bless you as you embark on your education…may your time spent in your “books” be fruitful, and may you gain abundant, relevant knowledge. May God bless you with total recall on your exams. In Jesus name, I agree with you! God bless you!

  16. February 15th 2012 I attempted to take my own life and in a coma for two days. I am still looking for hope. My days are filled with anxiety so much I feel the pain in my muscles. My head is full of confusion…. will I be allowed to go to heaven after my attempt? I worry non-stop. It is just a burden just to get out of bed and go to work. I am telling my testimony to many people and trying to help. I’m trying.

Tom – If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you ARE going to Heaven. Suicide attempts are not a ‘sin unto death.’ That sin is very hard to attain to. You are not there. The very presence of your guilt means that you are not there.

The guilt associated with your 2012 attempt is from a demonic source, so is your worry and depression. I believe depression is the emotional result of hopelessness. Joy is the emotional result of hope. Peace is the emotional result of faith. People are hopeless because they cannot ‘see’ hope in their lives. They cannot see hope because they are blinded. That blindness is a major work of evil today. I fight it too. Victory, lasting victory, comes from the Spirit of God. Bible hope is not emotional or intellectual. It is a spiritual thing. Get it and you have it.

Take look at this article. It was written by a major Christian leader of several decades ago. He fought this too. Depression Is a Spirit – It Must Be Fought with the Word of God

I like your artwork very much. I also sent you an email. Rex

    2. Tom,

I am so sorry you are going through this. Anxiety is real thing and it is from the devil. It is a trap that ensnares us to think about something over and over and over again and taking something to our own logical disastrous conclusion. Worry and fear separate you from the blessings of God. It is a way for us to try to control our own lives. Close your eyes and really picture yourself at a steering wheel heading down a dark road not knowing what obstacles you will encounter. No headlights and no brakes. That’s some scary stuff. Suicide is kinda like taking the car off the cliff instead of navigating around the curve like you should because you are too afraid to continue the journey. Seriously, if you just ask God to take over the wheel…he’s knows the perfect route, the perfect speed of travel, and the destination. It is about giving up control a day at a time and letting God do it. This might sound too simple but is really is exactly that. After all, if you think about it, what control do you really have in this world? Just keep trying to do the right thing, and sit still and ask God what to do today, or in this moment. Have no fear of tomorrow. Stay connected with other believers whom you trust. Don’t be an island. Tell on the devil by confessing to someone else when he puts crazy destructive thoughts in your head. God will place people in your life for that. And greatest of all…ask what can you do for someone else…stop worrying about yourself and think about the needs of others. It’s a great distraction and it will bless you beyond anything you can imagine! In Jesus name, you are free from anxiety!

    3. I did too just about 5 months ago and was in the hospital a week after. Sometimes I wish that i wouldn’t have failed, but than I wonder if I would’ve gone to hell for it…
